amazing that for a team with no youth, we’ve made it as far as your team with 10 (I didn’t count Jenkins or Dahlhaus) players who aren’t good enough to be there.

Signs were there last year. I’d been advocating for two or three years that he needed to play half forward and vacate a midfield spot when we had plenty of others capable of rotating through there. He’s played some games half forward this year and it genuinely looks like he can’t do either mid or HFF to an acceptable level any more. Too slow, not agile enough and takes too long to make decisions. Has not adjusted his play at all to his body slowing down and it makes him a liability, particularly given how poor he is defensively
