So you're just going to completely ignore the 8 years he lived on the Gold Coast between the ages of 17-25? If you spend 8 years in any city, there will be roots laid that will last forever, especially if you're a teenager when you make the move like Dixon was. There's also the common occurrence of the Suns playing AFL games in Cairns so he would also get the opportunity to return "home" during the season as well.

It is 1598 kms between Adelaide and the Gold Coast and 1469 kms between Gold Coast and Cairns. It is closer than made out above.

Pretty sure he is quite comfortably better than Day, Corbett and Burgess. But sure ok let's be dramatic after a couple of bad games against top sides that a 2020 AA team, 2021 top 3 contested mark top 10 goalscorer wouldn't make it at the Suns in front of Day (best 22 when fit)

He only kicks his goals against bottom sides.
He's useless against decent opposition his entire career.
Agree he's better than Corbett and Burgess but they are just kind of fringe AFL players
