Bit rich to use Max's 21 yr old stats vs Ben's 19 yr old stats though...
Read above. I've told you 2 things that Ben has shown to be better than Max at. Now what is max better than Ben at?
Contested marking Max is 5th in the competition took 8 last week and has other hauls of 5 and 4 multiple times.
Ben has never taken more than 3 contested marks in a game.
Max averages more possessions, more score involvements, more marks, more marks inside 50, more inside 50s, and more tackles.
He gets up the ground a little more than Ben and takes marks on the wing etc.
Doing ok I think and if Max had kicked a bit straighter this year he would have a similar amount of goals too.

You can't say IF he kicked straighter. he hasn't. Ben has obviously had bags of goals too. multiple times. so what was your point there?I repeat, Ben has kicked MANY MORE goals than Max. 30% more!
Cheers. Ben still better but I'm genuinely surprised how close it's been.Fair enough. Here is career to date and I still think it's close.
Max gets more of the ball takes more marks inside f50, double the contested marks, more score involvements.
He does kick fewer goals and more behinds.

How anyone can still have Rozee over Butters is beyond me. Butters has so much more potential to be one of the best players in the compMatthew Lloyd's 2018 draft re-ranking

No current season stats available
I'm not sure about that. Top end is brilliant but I'm not sure how deep it goes. All I know is the 2018 draft is one of the more stacked drafts ever. Loaded out the wazoo

He's only played 2 good games?Smith goes top 3 after 2 good games?
Obviously you only watched the prelim. Butters was great the end part of the yearAs godly as Butters was early in the season, he was terrible coming back from injury. Rozee played injured the entire season and still managed to impact most games. I love them both but still have Rozee ahead as a force to be reckoned with in his prime. The guy is still probably 8-10 kgs off the player he will be.

He had a quiet patch mid season but has a few BOG this year including a couple of finals. Torched pies in round 1.Smith goes top 3 after 2 good games?
Again you clearly don’t watch much port, Butters since returning was top 3 in terms of our scoring involvements, he took a week or two to get back, but no doubt he was 100% not “terrible”.Nah. He's top 3 favourite players for mine, I watch him closely ever week. He was serviceable in some games and really bad in others. He had -23 metres game against the Pies.
First 4 games he a minimum of 12 effective disposals. He only did that 3 times in his last eight games. He dropped off considerably.

Why remove the Carlton game lol what a stupid argument, if anything you remove his first game back coz he was just starting off and clearly wasn’t gunna be at his bestAveraged 5 after returning, averaged 6.25 before. Remove the Carlton game and he averaged 4.25 over the other seven.
6.25 is top 30 in the comp. 5 is about 120th. 4.25 is about 200th.
It was a massive drop off on paper, let alone that he was way harder at the man and ball before injury.
