I wonder how many people who freaked out in the Woosha Medal thread at the idea of Sheed finishing second gave Sheed regular votes here.

And Darling finished high in both too.
I checked because I'm a loser and enjoy calling people out but the only person who gave Sheed more than average votes and wasn't happy with his JWM finish was HoneyBadger35

Yeah I remember Sheed starting strong. That being said, he's the type to easily bag out when you lose, and given we went 2-7 to finish the season...

This is good content.

How many votes did I give him? I reckon I voted for about 20 games. I gave him more than average in what way?

He polled 18.68 votes and you gave him 19 votes which puts him as your 5th best WCE player for season 2021 with NN, TB, TK and JD ahead.

5th place in the JW, and receives the bronze medal in ours. Darling played 22 games in season 2021, polled in 13 of them and ranked as BOG in 2 of them in what was a rollercoaster of a year. BOG in Round 6 vs Geelong (12 disposals, 8 marks and a goal) and Round 9 vs Adelaide (15 disposals, 8 marks and 5 goals in a quarter), the 2019 All Australian rarely looked like tearing a game apart but was still 15th in the Coleman and our leading goalscorer with 42 majors. Like most players on our list Darling looked like he was going to have a nice season in the first half of the year before disappearing completely for the second.

Congratulations on your bronze medal, Jack.

Consecutive top 3 finishes for our Rolls Royce midfielder, TK had another good season in the blue and gold with 7 votes above third place. Playing 19 games, unfortunately injuries came at a bad time for him as he hurt his knee just as he had run into a huge run of form and was in fact leading our count before he went down against Essendon. BOG in Round 7 vs Fremantle (a career best 42 disposals and 9 tackles) and Round 19 vs St Kilda (26 disposals, 9 marks and a goal). Kelly polled in 14 of his 19 games and was one of the few players to not go on holiday in the second half of the year.

Congratulations on your silver medal, Tim.

Gee. Nic absolutely destroyed the field this year and then some and what is crazy is that he wasn't even leading mid way through the season, he just stormed home when all of his mates decided not to rock up anymore. In fact, NN obliterated the rest so much that if you halved his votes he still wins and if you half them again, he still finishes in the top 10. Nic played every game of 2021 and polled in them all bar 1 (Round 5 vs Collingwood) which is our best by a mile.

Nic played every game in 2022 and was BOG in EIGHT of them which were (*takes breath*):
Round 2 vs the Bulldogs (13 disposals, 5 tackles and 40 hitouts)
Round 10 vs GWS (15 disposals, 6 tackles and 34 hitouts)
Round 11 vs Essendon (20 disposals, 6 tackles and 40 hitouts)
Round 15 vs the Bulldogs (20 disposals and 39 hitouts)
Round 17 vs North Melbourne (20 disposals and 37 hitouts)
Round 20 vs Collingwood (17 disposals and 24 hitouts)
Round 22 vs Fremantle (15 disposals and 36 hitouts)
Round 23 vs Brisbane (24 disposals, a career best 11 clearances and a career best 53 hitouts). NN was our only player to receive unanimous BOG this year in this game with a perfect 5.00 score.

A huge year for a huge man and we as West Coast fans are pretty indebted to him. Hopefully he gets his deserved premiership medal before he hangs them up.

Back2back JW Medals and Back2back BFWCEPOTY Medals.

NN already our best player

Congratulations on your gold medal, Nic.

Let me know if there are any stats people would like from the votes.

I was planning to do something this year where I tally up AFL.com's best on grounds after every game to see who they would have crowned our Player of the Year but unfortunately due to so many insipid performances by the squad, they would regularly only list 3 or 4 best players instead of at least 5 in our poor losses so it became a waste of time.

I'll start on individual votes after the weekend. As usual I'll do everyone who voted in every game or missed 1 and anyone else who asks.
