You think the age gap would give Talia the edge. Or is Tarrant a much better ball user? That's the knock on Talia outside his injury issues.

Talia takes great care in his recovery to the point that he doesn't train as much as others. He had a torn meniscus in his left knee in 2020, then had off-season surgery and during recovery stage, he developed a serious injury in his left foot requiring surgery. He's had setbacks since the foot surgery and hasn't trained for probably over a year.
Agree, everyone would recruit Talia instead of Tarrant if both their medical passed unless Talia unlikely got a bigger offer from another club? Port Power should have gone for Tarrant instead they were distracted with Dawson who isn't much their need.Maybe, might have both been factors. My gut feel is he didn’t pass their medical so they chased Tarrant.
Surely it would've been mentioned now if there was. Last I heard (after Richmond chased Tarrant instead), was that there were still a couple clubs showing some interest. That's still better than Hartlett having to ask if there's any interest.Agree, everyone would recruit Talia instead of Tarrant if both their medical passed unless Talia got a bigger offered from another club?
Hence likely it's a career ending injury, nerve issue on the foot is very serious and career ending.Surely it would've been mentioned now if there was. I said distracted (learn to read will you Pepeaga), especially after the PF fallout. Particularly given Tarrant was a "shock" news he wanted out of North and Richmond quickly pounced. We know Port Power only had a salary cap of $800K which they unsuccessfully chased Merrett so doubtful they could fit both Dawson and Tarrant inside that cap, likely why they gone for Finnalyson as the backup trade to use up some of that cap since they already knew Dawson was more than likely to join us.So in your mind, the only possible reason Port didn't go after Tarrant is because they've spoken to Dawson? That's demented, even for you.
yep..he was THE best lockdown key defender in the league when fit.I'll really miss Daniel - in his heyday he was very consistent and was almost never truly beaten by his man. Seems like a top bloke as well.
Gee how much would it suck to see that, talia in a pear jumperyep..he was THE best lockdown key defender in the league when fit.
Imo, Port are going for the wrong people if they want to keep that window open. If Talia is medically fit to go, they are idiots for not looking at him as he solves their biggest problem down back for a year or maybe 2. They should also be going 100 miles per hour to get either Shiel or Mitchell to help in the middle. Forget Dawson, Finlayson etc - they are not the areas port were horridly exposed in.
Saying all that, I hope port don't get any of them and fall off the cliff next year
Edit: imo, a fit Talia no way gets turned over by Naughton in that final like their defenders did

I reckon Norton is exactly the type of player that would trouble Talia.yep..he was THE best lockdown key defender in the league when fit.

Not so sure as naughton likes the contested mark contest..he is excellent but that is also talias strength to negate..the 1v1I reckon Norton is exactly the type of player that would trouble Talia.
HE SAID....He said he was running 10 clickers not too long ago.
Didn’t Naughton kick 6 on Talia the last time they played? Not so sure as naughton likes the contested mark contest..he is excellent but that is also talias strength to negate..the 1v1

Yes but there’s stand still and contested mark and then there’s run from 500m away and leap and contest mark. Not so sure as naughton likes the contested mark contest..he is excellent but that is also talias strength to negate..the 1v1
He did although was that when talia was playing with the meniscus injury?Didn’t Naughton kick 6 on Talia the last time they played?
Yes..trueYes but there’s stand still and contested mark and then there’s run from 500m away and leap and contest mark.
Probably because they didn’t have a TaliaYes..true
Edit. But didn't he take some rippers v port standing his ground in contests though
Yep he is a super playerProbably because they didn’t have a Talia
He can do it all.
Is the one player I’d love to steal!
