Backed himself into a corner too. With fear of training wheels anti supporter sentiment. Voss did a Steve Bradbury…Yea, they never said "only" an experienced coach.

Not really.Backed himself into a corner too. With fear of training wheels anti supporter sentiment. Voss did a Steve Bradbury…
B70 any inside word why we made it clear that we were only looking for an experienced coach yet backed ourselves in a corner and only ended up interviewing one (who is no good). This driven by Diesel and Parko?

You are a fellow Leeds fan too. Awesome.
Still think Voss will be coach, but if it's Ross Lyon, I would be surprised and delighted.
TBH I think SPS has more 'Potential' - but the unknown is his effort - is he faltering due to being played out of position, or is it all too hard for him to make an effort. He has flashes of brilliance, but unfortunately I think Fish has hit his ceiling.Who would you rather keep out of Samo and Fisher?
No-one is saying they're champions, out of those KeFor him to nominate WC means someone at WC sees an opportunity.
SPS is a 360 degrees player. More suited in traffic and stoppages, not half back. Rarely turns the ball over.
Some people here are bagging his inconsistency. But they also must explain why other high draft picks in Dow, O'Brien, Setterfied, Kennedy(until recently when played in correct position) have been in the same boat. We could also throw in Cunningham.
He decided to go. Not us letting him go.
Worst post I've seen, and there have been some bad ones. LOB, hadn't got it,he has been played in his preferred position but just isn't up to it.Personally Id be pushing Fisher to nominate for a trade way before LOB
Well people wouldn’t wanna hear what Damien Barrett has said this morning, sounds like a blues fan in denial ...![]()

Not really.
By forming a coaching panel with people like Diesel and Parkin if they elected to not go with an experienced candidate it doesn't contradict anything.
If anything it shows he has the maturity to listen to others if they deemed it the right choice.
Don't let your personal preference get in the way of reality though.
And what exactly does our bifocal, purple friend have to say for himself today?
Oh woah poor SPS... got played basically for 4 years straight without question or being dropped... should’ve had stints in the magoos earlier but the coaching staff kept showing him the faith and putting him in the ones. He wants to go, great.. he don’t want to be here the he can go and enjoy the ageing Eagles where the whole WA will be scrutinising his lack of aggression and dinky kicks a lot more than we have.
More reliable. Hardly missed hardly any games to suspension or injury.SPS is not close to Williams as a footballer.
Uh-huh.
You draft a player as a midfielder, after they show midfielder traits. You proceed to play him in the back pocket for 2-3 seasons. Said player asks to train with the mids, and trains with the mids for the majority to the entirety of each preseason; said player's attitude to training and/or the club isn't and hasn't been questioned. He's played ones since he came to the club. He's done what he's been told.
At what point do you cease blaming the players for the pattern of pushing young and promising mids to the flanks and the pockets for their own poor development and look at the ******* sitting in the coach's chair?
All pretty damn exciting! Love a good clean out. Pretty happy TBH. Newbies in the hot seat, some draft picks, a trade or two. A hot unlocked summer, beers over Chrissy, big pre season, irrational optimism red lines and then rnd 1.....?. TBC!Woah, just saw that Cam Bruce is heading to QLD. So, right now, our only "coaches" left from the 2021 season are Luke Power and Daniel O'Keefe?
We have effectively stripped out: Barker, Teague, Stanton, Amos and now Bruce. Noting that at the start of the 2021 season those that have departed were the entire match day coaching team. Luke Power was strictly development and O'Keefe the VFL coach. So, the review and new board have effectively said, the entire match day coaching panel for 2021 was, lets just say, not very good. Sigh...
2022 is going to be very interesting indeed. Whoever gets the main gig, is starting from a loooong way back. We have the trade period and national draft coming up and the new guys may be asking for directions in the corridors of Ikon Park.
Lets be positive, this is just about as clean a slate as it gets. I really think we need to get the team together pronto!
Maybe it was a directive of the new incoming coach...?So why not wait?. Like Arrow, I’d love to change his mind. He can be salvaged.
Rather Voss. Everyday.
According to 7 News Cook is talking to both Voss and Kingsley in the next couple of days.
One was a success, the other a failure as a coach. You went for the failure.
SPS won’t survive under the diesel expectations. He’s conditional but I did love him nonetheless.
Wishful thinking.Cook will be seeking your input soon. Please wait by the phone until he calls.
