That’s the most ineffectual 37 possession game you could ever get. Treloar was actually the Dogs best, got them back into the game.
No idea. Just my opinion about tonightIs that what happened last few years or was it just tonight?
Treloar played well overall and was good up until mid way through the 3rd but was also a big contributor to why they where smashed in the second half both his positioning at stoppage and front running. Daniel was BOG with his rebound cool head and disposal in the first half the demons let him do as he pleased in setting the doggies up off half back He along with Bont until the 3rd quarter where tied for Norm Smith IMO before there fade out happened at the end of the quarter and for the rest of the second half.Who gave Caleb Daniel a Norm Smith vote? How could you give him a vote over Oliver.

Hey gotta cut them some slack. They’ve had their two hours of exercise. Surely they’re entitled to a picnic now too.Yeah I turned if off in disgust (eww Richmond!), but it does feel like they're carrying on a bit doesn't it. 2010 wasn't this long was it?

Was thinking that myself. 26 at half time yet it was Bont and Treloar who were influential. I’ll take 25 from petracca any day over 40 from Daniel
May looked a bit of a slug tonight. Not sure if Weed is good backup. Their list is a lot better than ours of course, no arguments there. We do not any real stars and they have abut 5 of them.Funny enough I look at Melbourne’s side - and as awesome as they are - they still carry quite a few players who are just ok.
Their key is great balance, which is what we achieved in 2018.
They could get by with McDonald and Pickett doing sfa tonight because Fritsch and Brown stood up. The superstars help no doubt.
If N.Daicos can be a genuine AGrader, and DeGoey can reach the Petracca levels that he is capable of more consistently, I believe Adams, McRae, JDaicos and Poulter could realistically project to be as good as Viney, Harmes, Brayshaw and Langdon.
They have no player who is in decline, which is also key. The difference is they had Jones, Melksham, Weideman, Daw, etc as very capable back up if needed, but not the relied-upon veterans . (Fraser, obree, Etc of 2010) Let’s hope our focus on the sub 21 group gets us there in the next 2 years.
Have a sookEspecially ones we help pay for
You took the words right out of my mouth.i wish they got meatloaf in for an encore..
I was surprised Daniel had 26 to half time. That he ended with 37 shows how easily the dees moved the footy with 8 minutes left in the third.Who gave Caleb Daniel a Norm Smith vote? How could you give him a vote over Oliver.

Demons went like a bat out of hell. You took the words right out of my mouth.

Anything is possible, Melbourne finished 17th in 2019!Funny enough I look at Melbourne’s side - and as awesome as they are - they still carry quite a few players who are just ok.

Selfish. Put himself before the team. If they had lost his rep would be badly tarnished.May never really flew or went to hard, figured he wasn’t still 100% and admitted after the game he had done his hammy again mid game.

It will be interesting to see if Josh Dunkley stays. Would also think Adz will ask for a trade to Qld.I enjoyed that - a lot. Outstanding performance by the Dees. My son in law in Sydney is a Melbourne fan, albeit lukewarm, but his Dad was crazy about the Dees. He died in his 60s about 10 years ago, and saw their last flag when he was 18. That was one helluva drought.
Petracca, just amazing. The Dees side is so balanced and with a great spread of talent. Fritsch is very annoying - but six goals? I love Oliver Clayton’s hair! And I enjoyed the entertainment. Great work by the AFL and Perth.
Sorry for the Dogs, but we’ve been there too many times. They really will be back, with a very talented side, terrific kids coming through and a good coach. They won’t do an ‘Adelaide’ and fall off the perch.
All round, a great GF and a great end to the season.
I think you meant the pre-finals bye.Sure did.
if I recall correctly the pre-grand final bye came in that year and helped them out a lot.

I didn't notice that Oliver Clayton guy?I enjoyed that - a lot. Outstanding performance by the Dees. My son in law in Sydney is a Melbourne fan, albeit lukewarm, but his Dad was crazy about the Dees.
