Also Jesus did the dogs much touted ‘best in the league’ midfield fall off the face of the earth part way into the 3rd Qrt. Biggest disappearance. Did they massively choke or did they pack up thinking they’d done enough?

I didn't bother watching the game as I hate both clubs equally. My Carlton housemate watched and told me that Dusty's name was mentioned that often that he thought he must have been playing in the game.

Could the stupid ******* commentators stop comparing every single player to Dusty? There is only one Dusty Martin and the rest can GAGF.

How soft were the Doggies. When Melbourne raised the stakes they went to water. Petracca is a gun, best going around and very similar to Dusty. Oliver is not far below. Gawn may as well have rucked against the kid who presented is medal. But F me did one dog do a dog act last night. If we were in their place I would guarantee at some stage a bit of good old fashioned finals run of the line and put a bit of body on body would have happened. Nankervis, Cotchin, Martin, MacIntosh, Pickett, Stack, Parker somebody. Who besides Libba, who is only good at the stuff under the pack that his old man specialised in, made Melbourne second guess for a second that something was coming their way. Melbourne waltzed around doing pirouettes and do-si-do's like it was a training run. They were really good, but that was not finals footy. Finals footy is dog eat dog if need be.

I thought they stopped working and allowed the godeees back into the game. Once they got back on top the Dogs couldn't stop them.

Taking nothing away from the godeees (as much as I'd like to), because they were brilliant in the second half...but the Dogs were pathetic.

Most glaring difference is, cameras were a long distance away watching Richo, as to Richo ‘filming himself’ desperate for relevance like Jeff white
