He was suggesting that how rushed they were had a big hand in how “off” the dogs were that day.

Marathon flight in
The usual hour-long flight from Melbourne took Hawthorn and Western Bulldogs two and a half times as long as it should have for their Covid clash at UTas Stadium.

The fly-in fly-out mission was delayed by an hour and a half sitting in the terminal and on the tarmac, but Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge said his boys were not fazed by the delay to the shared flight.

Their defence can be broken down and it was inevitable that melbourne would. No team goes the whole game without the opposition having periods of dominance. This is true especially in finals and grand finals. Melbourne made the most of their period of dominance. When the margin got out to 5 goals the bulldogs team just gave up. Unfortunate but can happen in a grand final.
