I didn't think Gold Coast had much list space or salary cap to slot in a mature player on good money.

Given they had the list space and salary cap to sign Mabior Chol, and have offered up pick 3 for mature talent, I'd suggest salary cap isn't a problem and list space can be created.

Even if Ladhams were to go, having Dixon, Marshall, Georgiades, Finlayson and O'Brien on your list definitely seems like an excess of tall forwards...

He's useless against decent opposition his entire career.

This is such a myth. And a ******* ridiculous argument to try back up your claim that "he wouldn't get a game at GC". But as you saw in the next page, there's no stats to prove your point. He's just inconsistent.

Plus as you point out, Corbett & Burgess are fringe players...so do you think Dixon would or wouldn't get a game at GC?

He's inconsistent in general. He's not Hawkins, but no normal football watcher claims him to be either. He's a solid key forward who is prone to the all or nothing sort of performance, as the vast majority of them are (even the best ones).

He's also had 23 disposals, 3.6 in his first final, and then his 2nd and 3rd finals had 14 & 12 goals TOTAL for the game - Hawkins, Lynch & Riewoldt didn't do anything either in these 2 games.

O'Brien might be looked at as a defender though? Jonas 31 by start of next year, McKenzie who is undersized was preferred to Clurey and isn't able to go with the bigs, Aliir needs freedom.

O'Brien maybe also undersized but he's got slightly more key tall traits I feel to go with the bigs. Or he provides a more secondary intercept role to Aliir with his athleticism.
