Updated. I care a little bit.

Wonder who gets 2, Sparrow? Or maybe we just give it to the next kid that comes through like we did with 9 and 31 to remove the pressure.

I'd prefer to see Sparrow make 32 his own, particularly given that he's just won a premiership wearing that number. I know guys like Trac and Harmes have changed numbers in the past though so it's always a chance.

What was Trac prior to 5?

I reckon leave 2 and 39 vacant for a year then go back to them. 33, 36 and 39 should be reserved for indigenous players anyway IMO.

Guys shouldn’t switch out of their premiership jumpers in my personal opinion. Although Josh Dunkley and a couple of the Richmond guys have recently.

Agree with this. No idea why though. Probably related to Steve Waugh’s crusty hanky and my thing of watching games in the same socks and jumper that I wore watching previous wins

Thought it would be time to necro Tulip's favourite thread.

Available guernsey numbers: 2, 21, 22, 27, 39, 40, 41, 43, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51+

Players: Dunstan, van Rooyen, Howes, Woewodin, McVee, Moniz-Wakefield

It would make sense for Taj to get 22.

Do we rest 2 and 39 for a year?

Would you necessarily want to get your dad's old jumper though? Personally I'd feel more comfortable trying to forge my own identity at the club. Only father / son combo I can think of who shared the same number at a club is the Sergio / Stephen / Jack lineage at Carlton, and I'm not sure that's really been of any benefit to Jack so far.

So perhaps give him the 2?

Some would want it, some wouldn't. Just give him the choice I reckon.

2. Jacob van Rooyen
21. Blake Howes
22. Taj Woewoedin
