Tucker has negative value, I wouldn't take him unless their first rounder was coming along with him. If he was drafted by us we would have delisted him years ago.Likely deal shaping up would see Clark & p34 for Tucker & p27.
Not sure that I like that deal but Clark has a very high ceiling but given proven performance it’s seems fair. Maybe if we play hardball we nab a future 3rd rounder too.
Think Tucker would be a decent addition to our squad although not sure where he fits at the minute.
Still hoping we hold onto Clark and think there is a chance of it as he has yet to officially request a trade.

54- Sam BanksAssuming we end up trading both Clark and Krueger I’d be looking at this trade/draft scenario -
Trades -
Clark plus 32 for 25 and 27. Left at this stage with 25, 27, 30, 34, 54.
Krueger for a future 3rd.
Trade 25 and 27 for Bulldogs 17.
Left with 17, 30, 34, 54
Draft -
17 - Zac Taylor or Campbell Chesser
30 - Tom Brown or Connor MacDonald
34 - TB, CM or Ned Long
54 - ?
I think this is a distinct possibility based on chatter out of WA.Likely deal shaping up would see Clark & p34 for Tucker & p27.

To be fair we really need good players in the 24-28 age bracket-more of them. I dont think tucker is good enough though.
The club will certainly go for the flag next season. I don’t know how good Tucker is but if he can’t add to our immediate flag threat and he is a not going to help the mini rebuild when we lose all those old players end 2022, then I don’t see much point in getting him.
There seems very little chance that we can get 17. The Tigers really want it and have so many picks (with more to come) right in the father son sweet spot of 27-40 that they will out bid us easily. They have to either trade up or slide them to next year as they don’t have the list spots to use them all.Assuming we end up trading both Clark and Krueger I’d be looking at this trade/draft scenario -

You will get howled down on this board just for supporting another club lolI think this is a distinct possibility based on chatter out of WA.
Floated this a few weeks ago and was howled down as a troll ( I have no opinion on whether Tucker would be a worthwhile addition for Geel as I don't know enough about your squad ) - it just seems like whilst Tucker is still "available" it will tick boxes.
FYI we are hearing here that Clark has essentially asked for a trade - again unsure if this is true but it is being reported.
That's probably a fair point well made.........You will get howled down on this board just for supporting another club lol
Whether it's true or not it's much better for my mental health to think Tucker is no chance of coming so I'm going to stick with that.I think this is a distinct possibility based on chatter out of WA.

Take banks at 34 and Noah Strom at 54 also Gilles from Grove would be a good get54- Sam Banks

Gold Coasts pick #19 is up of grabs but North are in the box seat for that.
Everyone seems to suggest this draft has talent but is a lottery btw 10-40. Just take our three picks and try and improve our position next year for when we will need to take 5-6 picks.
Very good mail that Talia isn’t going to the Cats. It will be interesting to see who the club brings in for cover as a key defender.
Give up p52 I understandSo cats have already ruled out trading Clark for pick 27. Now all of a sudden we are going to give them pick 34 as well, to get Darcy Tucker.
Put it in the very unlikely to not happening basket.
Or even just making realistic non one eyed assessment apparently. I didn't say I'd be happy with the deal and even said I would rather keep him. All I said is that its a likely scenario lol.You will get howled down on this board just for supporting another club lol
It was right that you were howled down as a troll. The WA journalists reporting it should be tooI think this is a distinct possibility based on chatter out of WA.

It's all about the team with the best cap space. The Cats salary cap would be very tight next year. After 2022 with the expected retirements etc of experienced players it will open up. Interesting, Sam Walsh hasn't signed on at the blues, now there would be an A grade replacement for SelwoodIt’s pretty crazy that the Suns have so many picks and players they’re happy to give away pick 19 and a player just to get the player off their list.
If you swapped out McPherson for Brodie I’d be happy for geelong to do that deal but looks like north got in first.
Real mature - you one of them were you?It was right that you were howled down as a troll. The WA journalists reporting it should be too

Hahahaha, no club would do that. Especially if hypothetically the prior year he turned them down to come as free agent, ahahahahahahahah. It’s be Higgins for 30, Polak for pick 1, type lunacy trading
