Has there been any update on what JK’s plans are? I know Hurn re-signing is imminent, but it’s strange we haven’t really got a definitive answer from JK yet, although I suppose there’s no immediate rush.

Enlighten me

The secret is to watch games, rewatch them, then decide that players you don’t like played shithouse and players who weren’t even selected that day were best on ground.

I really don't get the Darling hate I mean compared to the elite forwards in the competition he compares relatively well and even in what we would all consider a down year and in reality the only thing that he struggled against when compared to the others in the list was goals/total scoring shots. For reference I did a quick analysis on his stats for this year.

I also don't think that you should ever trade away/dispose of good players unless they are asking to get out, and this is why we have always been so successful and rebuilt so quickly is that we have maintained our leaders whilst other clubs have done clean outs of every player over a certain age even if they can still contribute strongly. E.g. I know Melbourne won the GF this year but look at how long it took them to rebuild after they did their clean out in the mid 00's. Compare that to a Sydney who this year could have gone down that route after last year and appearing to progressively obtain worse results but rebounded strongly this year on the back of a combination of youth and their experienced campaigners.

Mods need to start restricting Fiveys posting when he gets up a head of steam and into an argument with other poster's please.

2 pages and 10 mins of my life I'll never get back.
He can be like a pre menopausal poster who can go 2 months without pmt and then 3 in a month

Yep agreed. They could call it the Fivey Rule:
"No continual harrassment and bullying of posters to make yourself look as if you know better"

Perhaps focus on that period from Round 10 to 18 inclusive, when our season fell apart and Darling kicked a grand total of 5 goals?

Could explain the ill will towards everyone’s favourite 2nd Banana?

I've been up and about for this trade week but now as usual I've hit the wall three days in ..... I don't care anymore West Coast don't either after forgetting important drafting requirements , bring on the cricket .

Funnily enough, four completed trades in the first three days of the trade period is basically world record pace.

I guess maybe the injured hip/abdominal issue he had and played through may have a large effect. Combined with us getting destroyed through the midfield and around the ground resulting in very little coming his way.

Looked pretty clear that he had a back injury during that time. Also the entire team sucked and the inside 50s were rubbish. I can't think of any forward that performed well during that period.
