Most posters have us taking at least 2 locals plus we should certainly add Benning. Love us to get a local mid & forward but there's a reason I'd take Mac.

In Andrews you've got a 200 cm match up problem...kid can mark & kick. His athleticism won't have gone away and he can play.

He'll develop and you take a chance on points of differentiation....players like him don't come around that often. Yep could be a bust but at best he could be a dominant force.

Plus we've got a very tight SS community in Perth ...that would help us.

That would be an amazing haul. JVR the least gettable in that scenario, and the one I reckon leaves us the most unbalanced if we missed.

Agreed. I wasn’t big on JVR after I watched his first game but 3 games since I am all in. Would love Amiss too. Think those 2 would be a generational forward combo.
East Freo rate Williams so he’s the back up.

Looks to be more in your Jackson mould ...will be interesting to see how he develops.

I can’t see how JVR makes it to 19. I know on most of the rankings he is outside the top 20, but that’s just rankings not teams needs and IMO JVR is best available KPP so he will go earlier.

I see JVR as the most ready to go of the WA KPP, and mainly as he’s not necessarily a KPP but a tweener, as a third tall forward he would be a good get and may in time graduate to a 2nd tall.

Defensively wise he is a third intercepting type player.

The others are more high risk high reward types who are forward orientated.

I would go with him as our second selection with first being best mid.

Amiss would be fine at 8, it's really just my preference between the two.

Also generally speaking, I am not claiming to be thoroughly across the list needs of other clubs. Hawks could draft literally anyone and fill a need.

Yep thinking about it he most likely gets snapped up by Brisbane or Melbourne going by his last couple months of form. Trading down might be an option to get an extra pick or we could secure JVR with 8 outright.

I know we’re keen on him and he’s keen to get to us, just a matter of our picks not currently lining up.

Williams as a ruck/forward. But there's a giant down at Peel available next year.
