Stop with the PSD concept as if you know it would just happen.

Look how happy he is to have a club that he can train with etc
Why would he be walked to the PSD in 2 months time and be sure that North wouldn't pick him?
Another club could come for him with a similar offer to pick 43 -Tigers could do that and have a midfield spot for him etc

We've spent pick 43 and most are very happy about that

Aren't the players away on leave for the next month until the PSD anyway?
North are never going to pick a mediocre player who doesn't want to play there.
It doesn't matter what other clubs do, he's nominated to come to us so that's a moot point.

GW made it clear he wasn’t interested in the PSD. It was never an option.

His name was "Les", and I loved him!!!

I read somewhere he was keen on maintaining good relationships with other clubs. Clearly the outcome today shows that they weren’t intending on using the PSD option.
 
Will be really good for you guys if you can get him delivering the ball inside 50, got some serious silk. One of those guys who is quick with the ball if he receives it in stride but from a standing start or running the way other way looks like is running in mud. Hope he succeeds though.

For all the supposed bad blood between the teams stemming from last years he said/she said re: Treloar’s salary the last few transactions between the teams have been very beneficial for at least one side. Roughhead for pick 75 is a top 5 trade of the past 10 years for value, us getting Treloar discounted + the picks to match Jamarra and now Lipinski being best 22 for the Pies and giving us points to match Darcy/trade down pick 23.
 
So is he a dud or a stud?Some people here seem to think he’s the former and some seem to think he’s the latter.I suspect as always the truth lies somewhere between those two extremes.

Controversy around someone beating him to it is also a bit of a tradition. Can't make it too easy for TD. He thrives on the competition.

Don't think it should be anyone's 'right' but neither should it be released before an official club announcement.

It's becoming tiresome.

Easy fix . . .

Put it in the site rules - no welcome thread before the clubs announcement or an automatic day off.

Simples.
