Totes shocked to see a media outlet saying Carlton has won trade week.

Such a one dimensional view of it too. Sure they brought in a good young player, who so far is living up to expectation as an early draft pick, but it cost them their early pick this year, which will mean another year of not bringing in a high pick through the draft. They also gave away a former #6 pick for effectively nothing, which means that year's first round pick was a bust for them.

The other players they brought in are depth and neither here nor there. Nothing really wrong with either of them, but at the same time hardly a major coup of the trade period to win their services.

But still, back to the script, new names at the Blues, clear winners, history suggests finals all but guaranteed!
