Thoughts on a slow inside midfielder like Roberts when we already have Robertson and Ashcroft available in next years draft

As a part of father/son rules, you have to take Robert if you want his son.

But really, there I would see you guys taking Wilmot or Bazzo over Roberts, gives you two halfbacks who can role up the ground but need some time to develop. Bazzo could develop into a forward and Wilmot I like for his class, very possible he becomes Daniel Rich's protege.

Sinn and Goater would be a dream draft for us, although to be picky I'd take Goater at 16 and Sinn at 20 as Goater is my fav of the 2.

That'd be a super high risk draft for us.

I don't want to complain about Wanganeen-Milera because I'd be perfectly okay with him but I also really want Goater or Johnson...

I don’t want to complain (wtf dude, you’ve been doing it all year) but there’s no way we draft JVR at our first pick with Goater and Sinn still on board.

All the noise out of the club in the last two weeks has been “looking for some outside run and off the half back at the draft”.

Yes, I was keen to get some run off half back with one of those picks, so went with Wilmont at 21. Birt is an outside type as well. I also wanted to go with players who had elite skills in a particular area or huge upside with the later picks. The draft isn't overly packed with talls so getting JVR early was worth the pick in my opinion - particularly as he can play both ends.

Yeah, I’ve understood that dilemma at our first pick. However I see the potential ceiling of Goater or Sinn as being much higher than that of JVR, and would happily take Goater and Sinn/Wilmot/Chesser/Brown with our first two picks, and take a tall defender with our third pick.

What would Fremantle to at pick 21?

Big call not to grab us a KPF, but the next pick will see all of them available, and Ward and Draper would be excellent.

I reckon we take Callaghan with first pick and Mac Andrew or Rachele with next pick. Although Caruso loves to back his team in… always makes for surprises… usually good ones. They have been superb.
