I didn't know he and UFC had parted ways either until today.
As for fighting for BK, I reckon he's a pretty good fit. Plenty will tune in to watch Perry.

The tournament idea is great and the prize money they offer is pretty big by MMA standards but there's just so few people in PFL I care about watching
We've seen Shoeface do nothing in the UFC but he probably wins it today so it de-legitimizes itself in a way...
You really think with $1M on the line they'd be able to attract bigger/better names

Wouldn't all the bigger and better names be under contracts elsewhere? Think they do well with what they can get.
Maybe the best way to attract an all-star tournament is to give over a year's notice - so that fighters contracted elsewhere but interested have an idea of their bargaining position and can have one eye on it, fight out their current contracts etc.
