Relationships. Relationships. Relationships. Ignore the slightly shithouse video and see the actual work being done by a head coach with his first year players. Nobes will have the boys eating out of his hands when the whips are cracking because of the love and respect that has gone their way.

This is an uncommon but very tested form of leadership. Reminds me of Captain Andrew "Ack Ack" Haldane from The Pacific which used his actual life story. Always listening and getting around each of the men in his command.

"He was able to put enough of himself aside to address the concerns of his men. Yet, he had such a strong sense of himself that he was somebody who other men would follow into combat devotedly,"
-- Corporal Eugene B. "Sledgehammer" Sledge, With the Old Breed At Peleliu and Okinawa

There is much to be seen as to how successful Noble can be but this attitude in the AFL environment has already paid off in flags for Beveridge and Hardwick.

I love his approach to creating relationships with the players. You see it with bris, Richmond, Melbourne and the dogs. If the players respect and love the coach they'll fight a lot harder on field when those crucial plays are asked of them.

He's got 2022 to bed in his game plan and get the players fully bought in, especially on the fitness side.

2023 on we must be challenging for finals.

Same thing happened at brisbane after Noble came in too.
Its not as long of a turnaround as some people think either.
Depending on talent you really don't need a side of 25yrold+ players.
We've dominated sides this year with the likes of zurhaar and larkey up forward kicking goals.
Just need the support system around them which has come with the development of comben and trading of CCJ in.
we WONT be near the bottom of the ladder next year if all goes right.
