Well they did beat the 7-0 Cards who have beaten Titans and Rams. Rams have only beaten Bucs. Bucs have only beaten Cowboys who in turn haven’t beaten much either. Not sure there’s much between them.

Packers powder puff schedule.
loss to saints
Should’ve lost to niners and bengals
Fluke int vs cards
Beat 4 powderpuff teams.
lions bears squeelers Washington

looks like a champion team 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good points. So not a raging 7-1 team, okay, more like a 4-3 or 5-2....can see that ...but still playing better than the Browns and talent wise as per previous post

Best 11 offense and 11 defense made up of the Packers and Browns roster? Bet Packers have more.

Adams >
Rodgers >
Jones/Dillon fairly equal to Chubb/Hunt
OL >
DL fairly equal but Garrett stands above
DBs < Browns
TE < Browns
LB >

QB- Rodgers
RB- Chubb
RB/WR- Jones
WR- Adams, Landry
TE- Hooper
T- Bakhtiari, Wills
G- Bitonio, Jenkins
C- Tretter

IL- Clark, Jackson
EDGE- Garrett, Smith
LB- Campbell, Smith
CB- Alexander, Ward, Newsome
S- Amos, Johnson

That defense was difficult... looks fairly 50/50, but to be fair next man up in most positions would be a Brown, not a Packer.

He's been this way ever since he took over in 2011.

Al Davis used to do this quite often - the condition attached to it was for it to never leak to the public that he did it. Wouldn't be shocked if this is still happening on the regular with Mark in charge.

The speed of Ruggs' car at the time of the crash was significantly higher than 130k/hr, though I dont have a firm figure now, just going on what I was recently told from someone connected to the situation.

Jesus, I pay you a compliment about a s**t situation and you go all David Carr on me to tell you how great your owner and team is.

Geez, how many deaths were Raider players responsible for?? o_O o_O o_O o_O

I know right, people will lol, but if they dont move to Vegas , that woman is still alive, the Raiders are responsible for her death indirectly.

No, I just interpreted based on what you said that your opinion of Mark had changed based on the way he dealt with the Gruden and Ruggs situations. When from my perspective, Mark has been this way throughout his entire ownership tenure, so I found it a little perplexing, that's all.

Mark comes across a massive goofball with barely any leadership skills or someone with a backbone (in the case of saying * the NFL re; the Gruden situation) This is why it impressed me. Not everyone is a Raiders fan like you and knows in-depth how great he is. No need for the "this is nothing new to me" style answer.

Remember when I said the Packers were a better team than the Browns, and I got slammed and mocked for that.....well well

you also said the Texans would be a playoff team, so I owe you a shaming for that.

Lets just say we are even. :tearsofjoy:

Let's be real, he comes across that way because of his fashion sense and the bowl hair cut. Took me a while to take him seriously as well.

He's never going to win a public speaking contest, and his appearance in public is just, well, weird is a nice way of putting it. But I can't fault his desire to create a great football organisation, and to then follow it through with actions. Whether that is investing 40M into the old Alameda facility to bring it up to parity with some other teams' facilities, managing to get 750M in public funding from Vegas to move into a brand new stadium, which allowed him to spend the highest amount on a pro football coach in history (Jon Gruden). Now, am I going to sit here and say every move he did was the right one in hindsight? No way, but i won't ever criticise the fact of his number 1 focus being to put the team's performance first, when so many owners only care about the bottom line and couldnt give two shits about the rest of it.

No I didn't. I said they'd surprise and win like 5 or 6 games. Which is still possible, but unlikely now.

its all relative.

But I bow to your knowledge, you were right I was wrong.

doesn't sound like hes returning anytime soon

Michael Thomas (ankle) is seeing a specialist and his return in "unpredictable".
Thomas has a new issue with his ankle, which prompted a visit to a specialist. The issue also led to the Saints trying to trade for a wide receiver before the deadline. Thomas' timeline for returning from the PUP list is unknown, but it's clearly not imminent. Even when Thomas does return he'll be catching passes from Taysom Hill, following Jameis Winston's ACL injury. It's looking like 2021 will be a lost fantasy season for Thomas. The 28 year is under contract for three more seasons with the Saints, and his 2022 salary fully guarantees in March.

Sterling Shepard (quad strain) is expected to "miss some time".
The Giants play the Raiders in Week 9 and then go on bye, so it's possible Shepard's absence will only be for one game. The Giants face the Buccaneers in Week 11, in a matchup that would set up very well for Shepard if he's healthy. It's possible the Shepard's timeline puts that game well out of reach, however. Fantasy managers should have a fill-in option in place for at least the next two weeks. It's likely we see more of Kadarius Toney in the slot while Shepard is out, which should help the electric rookie rack up receptions.

Glad to have stimulated some discussion re the Packers.
I stand by my pick and think they’ll trounce the Chiefs this week.

Interesting points raised but it is a little weird given previously people mocked Bucs being #1, and now many want them ahead of the Packers on a tear and after their AZ win and after TB lose. Strange.
