Brownlow Medallist
DOB 5 Aug 1994. How do you get '28 already' from that?
Was referring to next year didn't make that clear, either way has wasted his time staying at Port this long.

He was 23 when he was first drafted (2017 RD), and has only been on their list for 4 years. It's not as if he's spent 10 years trying to break into Port's senior team. Was referring to next year didn't make that clear, either way has wasted his time staying at Port this long.

Is this guarantee the same guarantee that we'd keep Kelly, re-sign Mackay, extend Talia, miss out on Dawson to Port, keep Haas ...
To your point - you can't play 22 kids in the reserves, unless you want their development to go nowhere.
We need to identify the kids we're ACTUALLY developing and give them the right reserves environment to learn, which ISN'T just only playing with other 18 year olds.
They need some mature heads in the two's, otherwise their development will stagnate. They don't need a half dozen guys, but they need three or so
fu** what a balls up that would be, why re-sign him?
Two years at not much?
Wouldn't even be in the top twenty balls ups made in the AFL this year
They basically dropped Lienert for Skinner right?Considering we have Hately, I’d be shocked if we signed Constable (I do think he deserves to get back on a list, though)
Skinner to Port makes sense for them
1st lodgement, so there's still time? Interesting if we don't though, you'd think we would be more inclined to splitting 4 then.Crows?
Clubs confirm seven AFL rookies set to be upgraded to the primary list
Two Blues, a premiership Demon and a reliable Saint are among those getting moved to the primary list.www.sen.com.au

Yeah, our 3rd pick (if we make no live trades) should be in the early 60's, taking into account FS/academy bids, so we'll probably wait and see if there's anyone we like that lasts until then. If not, we'll upgrade a rookie or two in the period after the draft and before the PSD/rookie drafts (pretty sure we can do that this year)It would seem so, our third and fourth picks are likely to advance significantly from 75 and 80 as well though. Might be that there's a couple of players late in the draft we have our eye on and don't want to have to wait until the rookie draft.
If there's only going to be 55 or so selections, our pick 3 should be earlier than the 60s ...Yeah, our 3rd pick (if we make no live trades) should be in the early 60's, taking into account FS/academy bids, so we'll probably wait and see if there's anyone we like that lasts until then. Do we think James Jordon dies a little inside every time he's called a premiership player?
That is a big if, I honestly forgot all about him was a first round pick in 2017, really bad luck with injury. But realistically we are better off using that list spot on someone more reliable.I’m keen on Matthew Ling in the rookie draft; he has weapons if he can stay fit.
I'd prefer Lachie OBrien. That is a big if, I honestly forgot all about him was a first round pick in 2017, really bad luck with injury. But realistically we are better off using that list spot on someone more reliable.

I'd prefer Lachie OBrien.
I wouldn't but Matthew Ling would have to come with a guarantee clause that he will actually get on the park consistently. O'Brien just doesn't go hard enough for contested footy.I'd prefer Lachie OBrien.
