We could probably get a pretty good deal, maybe even involving upgrade our F2 to their F1.
We could but he might be best option for us at "64" and he might be gone via rookie. Otherwise Charlie Dean or similar. (Based on trading 27 for F picks/upgrades.

Trade our pick 27 for a late first rounder next year and draft Ronald Fejo Jnr at pick 61 (kid has star quality)...
Not sold on MacDonald and dislike how we seem to always back ourselves into corners committing to players (LOB and Cottrell)..

Reading some are annoyed that we would 'reach' for Connor Macdonald. Quite laughable, we took Durdin and Carroll last year, both considered sliders and who is to say what a bolter or slider is? It's largely based off what Twomey and Knightmare post, though pretty well informed, is not the be all and end all.
Seems keeping pick 25 was a good idea, there are about 8 guys i'd be happy with and 7 picks to go.

Wouldn't surprise if Hawks use 23 & 26 to get 21 for Johnson.
I Reckon this is a bluff…re Conway. I don’t think a longer term ruck play is on our run sheet.
We show interest in a player so someone jumps ahead of us to take them, leaving our preferred selection free for us.

Disposal can be a bit hit and miss.
Not much other than that. He's a very good prospect, people just aren't happy because if we pick him it may be at the expense of others who have appeared more prominently in phantom drafts.
Oh and some of course want a tall but that almost certainly won't happen.

Not sure, averaged 30 touches (albeit from only 4 games) and 148 ranking points. Had 10 shots at goal in those 4 games (once again 3.7 needs improvement) and captained his school.
Doesn't sound the worst option to me.

If they were seriously considering him at 7 then likely it does.

A good prospect, but mostly inside and prone to slamming it on the boot a bit. That kind of sums up 50% of our existing mids. So he's probably not something we need.
Having said that, he's athletic and has good burst. Would be like having another Dow in the side?
Seems to have more forward props than other other mids (ex-Kennedy).
But mostly, posters don't want him because he didn't appear in phantom top 20s...
We truly don’t need another footballer that has kicking issues, usually these type of problems are stubborn and difficult to eradicate, if Conner’s kicking issues can be ironed out by our coaching team fine, as he ticks plenty of boxes , otherwise not an clever long term choice.
