I know this may be a weird thing to say but Ross Taylor in subcontinent conditions is a bad miss for the kiwis. This team ems to be a bit thin from 7 onwards in terms of batting.

? Ravindra and Blundell (whichever order) are a great 6/7 and Jamieson is averaging over 40 atm. Meanwhile Southee is a handy no 9 (better average than Cummins).

In comparison India have a worse 6-8 (Jadeja, Saha with no Pant, and Ashwin).

Absolutely hates bowling outside off. He is getting as close as he can to the middle of the pitch at release and then bowling a yuck leg stump line.

Good to get rid of Jadeja. Need to run through the tail. Wagner instead of Somerville would've been useful. NZ with a very strong top 8 but need to be batting before it starts turning square.
