I like this move for multiple reasons. As much as anything, we presumably pulled the trigger on the trade because we knew Essendon would have picked Draper. So it's not only a steal, but it's a middle finger to Dodo!

I don’t mind the trade if we rate Draper highly. No point missing out for the sake of a future 3rd rounder when we have 4 of them.

It all depends how Draper pans out. I've seen people rate Draper highly, and we do have a plethora of future 3rds, but if Draper is a dud then it's a poor move.

If Draper is a star then we won't care at all!
