No Head, No Carey

Let's hope George Garton is a superstar

I heard Renshaw is also unavailable for the first few games.

That leaves Weatherall, Short, Gibson and Wells as the only specialist batsman. Obviously we have Neilsen and some all rounders but we take on an extra batsman into our squad.

The West Australian government has launched an astonishing bid to swap its Test dates with Adelaide after being told the fifth Test in Perth has been scrapped.
The West Australian has reported Cricket Australia is set to announce the abandonment of the fifth Ashes Test in Perth in the next few days due to the state’s hard border stance.

Hobart remains a warm favourite to land the January Test though Melbourne is mounting a strong financial case which will not be dismissed without the deepest consideration.

Lobbying between the cities is expected to escalate following the imminent cancellation of the Perth fixture which is a severe setback for the state given its desire to make the most of newly constructed Optus Stadium.

How will this help?
Won’t they still have to quarantine?

They would screw over so many people in Adelaide if they moved it.

It's sold out here, we would have ordered all the food and drinks, the staff have been organised.

I just can't see them changing it this close to the game

No way will they move any other test

WA are going to have to reap what they sow
And the flog who said its a no brainer, with not one consideration of the impact on us and those who have bought tickets and made plans. That's what happens when you have such a dominant position politically that you get super arrogant, but the rest of Australia have no need to swallow their bullshit.

Yep this, would be a dick move if anyone accepted this.
I know a few caterers that will be there and would completely screw them over.
Let McGowan have a cry.

Oh no, it's the consequences of my actions!

Should be no change even though it's a pity for WA fans.

I mean really we should just give up the test..while we are at it would Perth like the Adelaide Fringe festival? How about a Showdown? I mean whatever we can do to help WA - which really looks out for SA all the time - out....

WA made its Bed now it's time to lay in it.

They can't hold Adelaide hostage while screwing us over to push their agenda

So no Head, Carey, Rashid or Renshaw to tonight. A fairly weak batting line-up but most teams are in the same position.
