One would think that there would be businesses all over the world desperate to be commercial partners with such a supposedly prestigous club. Not yet another Abu Dhabi government owned business.

There could be compromise, although unlikely with the league that often goes out of its way to make things a bit harder for clubs playing in non domestic competition.

But no-one is forced to risk the welfare of their players. So people shouldn't make out they are when it's clearly their own choice.

Both clubs want the game pushed back 24 hours for player welfare, but it effects BT too much so they've been told to suck it up.

Same with two leg semi finals in the league cup. Totallly unnecessary, just a money making exercise for the EFL.

Clubs could bin off the big TV deals, and the two legged Cup ties and make do with less.

But when it comes down to it, all of them want the money without the sacrifices that come with it.
