Not sure how many GPs run covid monitoring the process is dhs get positive test and then case is allocated to a covid monitor program run by hospitals with some GP who work inside that program.

Yeah I feel he spoke without reflection (or knowledge? Surely not!). Yet again.
Its similar to that time when suddenly everyone was told that they could take AZ under the recommended age group having first had a discussion with their GP. That one came out of the blue for doctors also. Mine was pretty furious. The reception phones were ringing off the hook with people seeking appointments to consult re AZ, sick people were unable to find appointments with the sudden overbooking and the majority of doctors suddenly found themselves expected overnight to be briefing their patients about options and risks in an area where they don’t have specialisation or advance warning.

It's long been the measurement. The problem is that it became irrelevant because the LNP have been actively driving down people's hours via casualisation. It means more people are "employed" under the current definition, but less people are actually better off. It makes the measurement meaningless.
Underemployment, plus unemployment tell the full story. But try telling that to the incompetent and financially illiterate media who are more obsessed with personalities than data or policies.
This type of illiteracy or innumeracy in the population is a real problem which is only growing.
I once worked in the UK for Boris. We were measuring something averaged across the week and the numbers started looking bad, so they decided they would make one day worse, so that there was less variability. Therefore, more people were worse off, but their KPI measurement looked better. Me and another higher-up stopped it from going ahead, but it cost the other higher-up any future at the organisation (I was already leaving). The people who were going to implement it barely understood what they were doing and the implications of it.
Wives of world leaders get an easy-pass sometimes.
People just assume Jenny's not as stupid or incompetent as Morrison. It's a form of sexism, assuming no woman could be as stupid as these men. But I've seen no evidence Jenny (or Melania) are not just as sociopathic or frothingly stupid as their husbands.
The only judgement it would be fair to make is that if they're married and supporting these idiots, then they're very likely to be at least as stupid as their husbands.

1/ you self test - if you are positive that is it
2/ you are not available for any support from the federal government unless you have a confirmed PCR test
