I find her so very frustrating
She does pull out some brilliance “at times” however mostly just doesn’t focus on the basics
Should’ve kicked a couple more that quarter, had Brisbane on the ropes there for a long time in that quarter.

Ponter just not there at the moment. Might be worth trying someone else in round 2.
Biddell on the other hand just looking like a proper footballer, I would argue for the first time. Very happy with her down back.

McKinnon working her way into the game after a slow start. Don't mind her sharing the ruck duties with Gould at all, with Gould resting up forward and McKinnon resting down back.
Ponters good in that all she needs to do is 2 really special things and she can win/seal you then game but otherwise there are other players more deserving of a go.
With scores still relatively low they keep her there as if she secures you two goals that could be the match difference.

Marks around the ground was definitely a weakness of ours in previous seasons so good to see improvement especially with the stand rule making it easier to run on a 45 and get a kick away
I don't know how she got the distance. She can barely kick 20 metres. But I love her aggression.
One of my absolute favourite players. Absolute pocket rocket and nobody can tackle her, either they get her high or she just bursts through the tackle.
Loss of Lutkins was huge, meant Starcevich left the handbrake on for the 2nd & 3rd quarters, left it way too late to try and flick the switch
Anybody else getting annoyed with the commentator referring to Noarlunga in the province of West Adelaide??
