Harmony!!! you really are kidding aren't you. The Yellas screwed the Demons and then walked out and left them in a mess.Nope. Not true. There was no benefit from what FCC offered vs what other clubs have in terms of facilities and training ground.
Another was board members/general members of South Fremantle blocking any move possible. Had Fremantle FC lucrative handout to the WAFL been accepted then Bulldogs would’ve shared facilities with East Fremantl. That would’ve allowed Fremantle redevelop the crumbling change room/club room blocking redevelopments.
Cannot have two clubs sharing one oval at loggerheads.
Have to say, am very jealous of Perth Demons and West Coast. Managed to find harmony, and look at the grounds/facilities now. If only
Souths had problems with the FFC for a long time.Did Souths have a problem with FFC before Rosich and Lyon?
So is the story?
FCC wouldn’t or couldn’t afford to help with the facility/ oval upgrade, and CCC was willing to splurge and offered FFC new facilities and ovals to move out that way?
PS. Anyone get any training notes
He also got money from the State gov and the Federal Gov.Rosich managed to get a few more $$ out of Cockburn. That's about it. Very short sighted move and will cost more in the long-run.
I've been through the entire new Dockers facility, it's not really that flash, it's just new.
Because it’s not!He also got money from the State gov and the Federal Gov.
Why not just accept that what we have is ten times better than what we would have had in Fremantle.
Gee, I could have sworn when I was at Fremantle Oval on Saturday, that there was no Fremantle facility there.Because it’s not!

PSSST, lend me you ear, come closer. Shhh don't tell anyone. How ridiculous does he look having to spin his sleeves to have the Sullivan Logistics logo showing!!
So how do you know what we have is 10 times better? Stupid statements require rebuttal.Gee, I could have sworn when I was at Fremantle Oval on Saturday, that there was no Fremantle facility there.
We have no idea just what the facility would have looked like.
Bulldogs felt that the East Fremantle had too much influence in the start up of the Dockers.Did Souths have a problem with FFC before Rosich and Lyon?
I don’t see the problem of training at both Cockburn and Fremantle oval.Cheers!
Wonder if this goes ahead would the club return?
Fremantle Oval Masterplan endorsed by council - Australasian Leisure Management

If the redevelopment of Fremantle oval goes ahead we could also play pre-season games.
Please name a single hurdle. Just one.
That’s the thing. Expansion has to have plans to either a) close Parry st north at Holdsworth or High st and at Norsfolk, to allow pedestrian access to the Oval as well as link to Markets. Or b) demolish the grandstand Gaol side and allow facilities all the way around connecting to the existing facilities which was already in place hospital end.The demand was made that the entire facility was net zero energy consumer. Zero carbon ******* footprint by using 100 % renewable energy.
No such condition was or is placed on any other building in Fremantle.
The building Had area limits placed on it and so fined to the southern area of the ground; pretty much precisely where it was. This had huge implications for any future expansion.
The council did not want the club there and hindered the club where they could , as listed above.

Council would never be that far sighted. South’s have too much to say, and that heritage stand, as much as it is iconic, is an eye sore.
Arden St in North Melbourne has moved forward and so has Punt Road at Richmond.
Too much shortsighted traditionalists involved here.
At least in Cockburn, the club is in charge of the development and have room to expand and develop with the council.
(Apologies to stay with this diversion for one more moment, just a point of logic I can't leave...) I think you may be getting a little confused here. The expansion story isn't really refuted by the proportion of FFC to the ARC. The "expansion" is relevant to the current size of the FFC space to the available (/affordable) space at Freo Oval. How much space do you really think was needed?
Cockburn ARC is huge but only a small portion is FFC.
The expansion story is a myth.
I wasn't aware of the St Kilda move.........their story is very similar to ours:
Our base is now in Cockburn, not Fremantle. I t would take a major major change for us to return to Fremantle Oval.Once City of Fremantle manage to construct something of similar quality at Freo Oval then we can go back then. Not before then though.
Fyfe endorses this.Lol, do you even know where Seaford is? It would be like if we shifted to Secret Harbour.
