Because allowing a wealthy, world-famous, unvaccinated tennis player to pick and choose what parts of the covid protocols they want to follow on the basis that they are wealthy and world famous creates an obvious double standard in the society and undermines the message.

Because allowing a wealthy, world-famous, unvaccinated tennis player to pick and choose what parts of the covid protocols they want to follow on the basis that they are wealthy and world famous creates an obvious double standard in the society and undermines the message.

I understand as an Australian citizen you can enter the country unvaccinated if you undergo the quarantine of the state you arrive in still 14 days in vic or nsw

I’m about applying the law correctly and accountably, even if it goes against the politically imperatives in play. They would have much more respect if they did

Nah there's heaps of s**t to pot scotty about but I really don't think they've missed the mark on this one. I'm actually surprised they've shown some backbone instead of taking the easy option of letting Novak compete and pretending there was nothing sus about his visa application process. The only thing I'm really critical of is the fact he got a visa in the first place, knowing what we know now. Whichever middle manager who signed that one off had a howler at work that day.

There was a time in Vic when it was largely observed by coffee vendors etc. But like QR check-in it's now more honoured in the breach than the observance.
