Anisimova has just put her name in the headlights. That was a sensational match as both players played at an incredibly high quality throughout.

She broke on to the scene young, had some very tough battles after losing her father, took some time to find her game again, but gees if she plays like this consistently she can win a slam.

Anisimova has made a French Semi Guys. This is not new for her. This is a return; a comeback. Not a breakthrough. She beat Halep in that tournament, who was defending champ.

In that semi, she played Barty. It was a close-run thing.
