Fair call but think we’re picking him off the premise or more midfield time
Port were exposed in the prelim again in the middle
Too much reliance on Boak and wines
Drew is just a guy and he was the third wheel along with Amon who really is a wingman
Butters has every chance to become that number 3 midfielder at port this year and I think the upside is definitely there at 443k

no - I was contemplating starting him last year - and then brought him in when Danger was rubbed out after rd1
that game in round 2 just confirmed that he can go to SP level as a forward

Grundy & Rioli vs Big O & Crisp

Grundy is the only captain option involved.
The last time they played against each other, big O scored 131 and Grundy scored 89.
I know which of those I'd rather have the C on.
(No, I am not saying big O is a captain option at this stage. But if you have Macrae and Steele, neither is Grundy)
I don't think Big O scores enough for r2.
He might, but Grundy has done it a few times now.
I think we have 4 viable ruck options.
Gawn, Darcy, Grundy and Nic Nat.
Having rucks as captain options makes it easier to select a captain each week. They pretty much compete one on one with there counterpart.
If Grundy is playing the dogs you captain him for example.
I think bringing the captain factor into it just muddies the waters.
The gap between Big O and Grundy is narrower than the gap between Crisp and Rioli.
So the second pairing is better.
You only get to double one score a week - I wouldn't be trusting Grundy as VC or C even if I started him, which I won't be

Having the same issue here. Currently Titch, but might go Miller just as I haven't had him before so why not.
