West AdelaideReckon Manswerth will end up getting that coveted HB role over KiddyC

You guys really need him in the mids.De Goey tore up the intra. Played in the guts then pushed forward. Must have had 4 or 5 shots on goal.![]()

Coleman was playing just as well if not better than Answerth Fay forget to mention him he’s been in the possibles all pre-seasonReckon Manswerth will end up getting that coveted HB role over KiddyC
If Crisp is not in the rotationsHaha! I think 90% is a bit of a stretch... I'd say more 30/70 for De Goey mid/fwd, however he was at most CBAs then pushed forward. They shuffled the mids around a lot, so it was a little difficult to keep track from ground level.

I'm most likely leaning towards butters if thats the case then.De Goey is playing the Dusty/Stringer role. Gets every CBA, then pushes forward and mostly stays forward, with occasional stints staying on ball. Still averages 100 if he stays on the park. Even with 20 touches and a goal or 2 he'll still score 80-90
FWD premium is the biggest oxymoron this season
Going Bailey at F1 and Jackson at F2 then upgrade when the real slim shady’s make themselves known
Allows Neale at M5 and Gawndy or Dundy options in the middle
Am I nuts?![]()
Like that you said 'if he stays on the park' . He doesn't half mind an injury, sometimes even when playing footy. As a Collingwood tragic, I just cannot have him. Concussion, broken nose, abdominal strain, finger tendon, hamstring, plus his boofhead off-field injuries - all in the last 3 years.De Goey is playing the Dusty/Stringer role. Is Milera DEF/FWD or just DEF
Priced similar to both Rioli and Im confused
Beer 3 kenties
Just D and made of glass and tendons, Rioli is D/F. 271K v 336K, if Rioli settles into that HB role we saw late last season, he represents a decent scoring option, with added bonus of a more resilient body. He is in and out of my side because I think Short is underpriced and I don't want 2 rebounders from the same team.Is Milera DEF/FWD or just DEF

If Short is graduating to the premier HB at Richmond without Houli, is Rioli his replacement as a second runner or do they keep him as a pressure/lockdown back and run out with just the one gull?Just D and made of glass and tendons, Rioli is D/F. 271K v 336K, if Rioli settles into that HB role we saw late last season, he represents a decent scoring option, with added bonus of a more resilient body. If Will Day wasn’t in rehab group - I’d probably back him over Hewett/RioliIf Short is graduating to the premier HB at Richmond without Houli, is Rioli his replacement as a second runner or do they keep him as a pressure/lockdown back and run out with just the one gull?
Rioli, Answerth, and Hewett are all interesting choices, and whoever gets the best role of the three will probably end up as my D5.
I've read enough of the Hawks training reports to be turned off Day for the first few rounds. I can't see him staying on the track unless he gets a proper rehab block in. I might consider him for the byes if he is on the bubble by then.It Will Day wasn’t in rehab group - I’d probably back him over Hewett/Rioli
Hence my equivocation; Rioli uses the ball so well, you'd want it in his hands. He showed some of that last year. His tackling and closing speed are such assets though, too. He may well be used in a hybrid role, depending on match-ups on the day. Hewett interests me at the price, too, can see him being a top ten D. I think Answerth, if he gets a regular gig, likely gets a more accountable role than Coleman, who announced himself as a key transition player in the finals. If Short is graduating to the premier HB at Richmond without Houli, is Rioli his replacement as a second runner or do they keep him as a pressure/lockdown back and run out with just the one gull?
