Might be today with all the protesters in Canberra. Apparently there's already been a few charity events scheduled for this weekend that have been cancelled due to safety fears with thousands of cookers converging on the nation's capital.
Any sort of major event coming from that lot is likely to be self inflicted and difficult to politicise beyond pointing to the general f***wittery of the usual suspects. That said, imagine the reaction from the government if it had been environmental protesters behaving like this? Canberra would be suffering through a severe soap box shortage with the number of government MP's lining up to gaze sternly into a camera and condemn them, I'm fairly sure Canavan would be in tears by now but we've barely heard a thing from anyone.

Waiting for that major “event” before the election ….. A terror plot? …. Something like childrens overboard ….

It’ll come …..

A war is mutually beneficial to the US, UK and Australian governments at the moment. Time to save Ukraine.

Don't forget the "demented" Liz Truss' theory that while everyone is watching Russia take back Ukraine, China is going to sneak in and take back Chinese Taipei.

News.com.au headline today: RUSSIAN HACKERS ARE COMING FOR YOU.

The Australian: CHINESE AGGRESSION.

As predictable as a porno.

Its all they have left.

If Australians get sucked in by this s**t then we deserve to become a third world nation.

But we don’t have a problem exporting $12b per month to China

Not one journo asked Dutton, while he was doubling down on China backing the ALP, asked who was it exactly that sold a key piece of infrastructure to the Chinese. It’s the most obvious question.

What a psychopath.

Lol this type of commentary if ******* ridiculous. I have a very strong disdain for Morrison and the LNP but to blame the deaths of people from a virus is loopy. Just as bad as the *******s that blamed Andrews in 2020.
You seem to have missed the reporting on what has been happening in aged care homes, an area of Federal Government responsibility, where many of these deaths has taken place.

It is true that is inappropriate to blame the Morrison Government for all the covid deaths and the blame is not all to be shouldered by the Federal Government. Mistakes have also been made by State Governments and private nursing care operators.

But his governments bungling of so many aspects of how the Australian response to covid was managed, over 2020 and 2021, means Morrison and his Cabinet must be held accountable for much of what has gone wrong.

If ScoMo had organized appropriate quarantine, vaccination and testing methods and infrastructure as a matter of urgency from the start, do you think we'd have had thousands of deaths like we have had?

We had a unique advantage to be isolated from most of the world so we could've watched what was happening elsewhere and implement things to prevent things getting as bad as they have. Well we could if we had competent leadership at a federal level that is.

Happy to give a 10% discount to Morrison, to allow for the ****ups of others.

Quick mental calculation leaves the revised figure at 4038.
