Booker T is asking questions at the press conference, this thing is so legit.

I can’t wait for the next Adesanya decision. Hulk Hogan maybe?

I didnt bother with the 5th round (had to go out but would have watched if i thought it was close) as i thought it was clear Izzy had won. Unsure how people have scored it for Rob tbh

Izzy v Cannonier is an easy defence
Rob v Strickland id say
Interested in what they do with Tai. Gane? Stipe? Most are booked but they'd want to strike while the iron is hot there

Bobby Green is another im keen to see what he does next. Ferguson for mine would be a good one

Adesanya was the better fighter, Whittaker was desperate and did barely any damage.
I agree

I dont have Rob winning round 2. It's more the fact he looked just like he couldnt do anything the first round and got some offense going made it look better

I have 5 with Rob clear, but Izzy def won 1-3, While every other round was tight. Rob was clearly too cautious (Good reason why) and some mistakes like not repeat takedowns when he had some success.

old saying, Rob didnt win the fight, Maybe Izzy didnt either? But nothing against Rob, he looked the closest to stopping Israel at Middleweight

Rob was a bit too cautious I think and takedowns should have played a much great part. As the fight went on he kept having more and more options with the td's and had Izzy having to defend then which was the opposite to the fight on the feet.

I had Izzy winning 3-2. I'd happily watch a 3rd fight....do it in Aus/NZ.

Bam Bam should be in the top 5 now. His really benefited from being at AKA gym. I think being there has given him structure.....where as before I think he was just trying to wing it with his skill set.

Cannonier will be picked apart and dismantled by Adesanya.

The best challengers I’m looking at are specialist type guys, Khamzat or Periera. But I’d favour him in both.

Always was going to be the problem for Rob, he’s in no man’s land now. It can change very quickly though.

After seeing the post fight interview, my respect for Whittaker has gone up again.

He seemed honest and circumspect about it, handled the whole thing very well.

Fight itself was a little bit on the meh side but they can't all be bangers.

Israel and Whittaker both come out of this looking better imho.

Close fight but at the same time I thought Israel won pretty clearly, judges had it pretty right. Israel is just too good for him, won the grappling department handsomely. I think Rob beats Sean Strickland easily enough and Israel beats Cannonier, so not sure what they'll do after that, they've both nearly cleaned out the division together.

Tuivasa's performance was incredible really, copped some massive shots there but not only stayed upright but kept fighting through them. That short elbow of his is a great weapon, think that's how he knocked out James McSweeney years ago. And he's done well to avoid Curtis Blaydes, now he really should be looking at Gane/Ngannou/Stipe, depends on what happens with the title but he deserves a shot after that.

Oh and Casey O'Neill needs someone with a PR background to tutor her, she didn't deal with the booing well at all.

I think you right about Tai. Has more structure around him and probably gets to around 5th now after putting Derrick to sleep. I do not think he ready to fight a Stipe though. His skillset would be too much right now.

As for Izzy and Rob a 3rd fight. I'd happily watch it but think Dana not going to give us what we want so this division might be in a dull holding pattern if they only fight other guys and keep beating them but do not fight each other in 2023. I'd still happily watch Cannonier v Izzy and Vettori v Rob but there only so many fights that interesting matchups and if keep winning and do not repeat 1 v 2 each year, you will lose me as a paying customer. I went to the fight at Docklands and paid to watch this card via Kayo live but will not spend money if not willing to have the top 2 re-match if they still 1 and 2 each year.

They need to keep Strickland away from Rob for a while. Rob v Costa and Vettori next. Strickland is the only fresh meat for Izzy and there's no point having Rob ruin that like he did Cannonier and Till

Rubbish. You do not hide fighters on purpose. It may happen but to want it to happen is just flawed thinking. As for Costa, I doubt he relevant as probably on juice and have no respect for him. He deserves nothing at this point.

Can't see Strickland beating anyone above him, but he's obviously due a top guy after 6 on the trot. Costa or Brunson perhaps. Whittaker vs Vettori and Izzy vs Cannonier. I don't expect any of this to happen.

Rob smoked Cannonier and it hasnt effected his chances at all.

Tais Post fight presser has almost double Adesanyas views. Australia has its next world star coming

I've watched both and although I'm an Izzy stan, Tai's presser was much better.

Dude can speak well.

He presents himself as a knockabout kinda guy but he is surprisingly intelligent and thoughtful, answers questions very well.

I wonder what kind of contract the UFC have him on.

He could easily transition to one-off boxing events with the likes of Jake Paul and bring an audience with him.

Hope he's getting the cash money he has now earned.
