And in between the two key messages (disregarding the subheading format ND outlined which the other candidates all followed) were
-undermining the committee but not running things past them. Only rules were cited as an example and other examples weren't offered when asked
-using others' good ideas which is fine in theory but aside from KP's, there were none, so in fact , it was idea (singular)

And he hasn't responded further when I've asked/genuinely tried to flesh things out so maybe you can answer for him

I have some questions for you Kennedy Parker

A reserves competition, originally thought of by @kdavva in his initial 5-minute run for admin when I stepped down. Every SFA team should have an affiliate team in a lower league where the remaining squad players play in the plumb spots and fictional characters top up the rest.

Practically speaking, would this be associated with a larger sim committee since there would be twice as many games to sim?
Not a bad thing as there isn't a shortage of people willing to put their hands up

• The creation of a new role: SFA General Manager of Qooty Operations, yes this is a fancy name for @manangatang's 2IC idea.
  • GM does the day to day tasks to keep the league running e.g. as rostering simmers, organising match thread posters, posting the awards. The admin focuses more of strategic matters: rules, struture, initiatives.

My original question stands, do you have someone in mind for this role?

Everyone knows that I like deregulation in terms of penalties and team sheets - strip out any penalties that don't directly impede the simming or statskeeping process.

This remains a main sticking point in your bid. Many people enjoy the theatre of penalties. But in the name of fairness, it makes some sense

• I'd scrap re-sims for all finals except the grand final, if it's a draw the home team wins - that equates to a 1-2% home team advantage in finals. Besides an immediate replay after a EF/QF/SF/PF draw just kills the realism of the league.

I'm not quite following the killing the realism part. I thought it was a throwback to previous AFL rules when every drawn final was replied. We don't have the same physical travel requirements so an immediate resim makes sense.

• Players should need to be on a list for x number of weeks before being eligible to play finals.

Not saying I disagree but what's your rationale here? Do you feel the lack of this rule has been exploited?

The Wonders will be voting. And the vote will be decided by the LG. Everyone at our club is entitled to their opinion and can bring that to any of our LG for discussion. Of course I have a say and will convey my opinion our LG but when I place our vote, it'll be who the LG believe is the best candidate. Not an individual.
