Great W girls really enjoyed watching that , tired in the end . Beside our stars some impressive work from Dempsey branc shocking and lynch too does some nice things , has that mongrel in the blood , If she works hard could become a fair player. Our brand of footy , real tenacity and aggressive handball has proved to be very competitive this year . Fingers crossed we can finish the year off positively

Our game style is an aggressive one , tenacious at the contest and forward handball , have def improved and we’ve been in games against qty oppo . Ellie showed her class , still that’s only 3/4 what she’s capable , will be a very special player , has got herself super fit and moving very well

Ellie is also starting to understand how to use her size. She is a big unit.

Conti, McKenzie, Lavey and Brennan were a bit too classy for the Weagles today. Ran out of legs in the end which was disappointing and still some defensive issues but a better performance

Did anyone notice that the first game in a while that we had a solid umpiring ride in (at any level) was met with the commentators bringing it up frequently?

Now I ain’t saying that there’s a conspiracy against Richmond, but let’s just say that the commentators didn’t really bring up umpiring in our games against Melbourne and Fremantle earlier in the year.

Liked Akec on our forward line.

Can take a nice mark, good kick, good run and pace. Looked likely to do something whenever the ball came near her.

Just a really composed solid defender. Lack of opportunity has prevented her playing more games not form.

Got a glimpse of why we targeted her.

Not sure there is a more loved player. Are we seeing the rebirth of her career as a forward?

Sarah had her best game of her year after a surprising quiet start. More confident in our backline with Jess there. Just two absolute hard nuts. Would be lovely people off the field….until you parked in their parking spot.

Poppy Kelly
So important to our structure. Was a cross code rookie at the Saints so has actually played little footy. Upside is huge. Our best recruit just for what she adds.

Meg MacDonald
Gives 120% Won’t be our flashiest but won’t die wondering.
