Imagine that’s what his plan would be. Can the Crows get him on to their list somehow if does go well?
If we get hit with Covid, pretty sure he will be available to us to play as a top up.
We also could draft him mid year if he is available at our pick.
If someone moves to the long term injury list (Seedsman) before 09/03/22 then he could be added to our list via the supplementary selection period.

Former Magpie and Saint Nathan Freeman continues to put his name up for an intriguing mid-season draft opportunity, following another scary performance that included 44 disposals
Also, if Freeman does get selected at the mid season draft, that will happen after round 8 of the SANFL.

I’m very happy with the Freeman SANFL signing, and even though he might get poached by another club before we are ready to make him an offer, if a time does come either at this year’s mid season draft, or the end of year DFA period, we have put ourselves in a great position to become Nathan’s club of choice if multiple clubs are making offers.
Here’s hoping he can have an injury free first half of 2022, because if he does that, I have no doubt he’ll be on an AFL list by December at the latest.

Still young enough for our rebuild. We are probably at the end of our rebuild now. Hasn’t played much footy so theoretically shouldn’t be banged up too much.
We lack depth at the 26-27 bracket, if he looks the goods why not rookie him
