So is he still eligible for the brownlow or what? I don't think it was that harsh an incident but probably deserved a week.

Was there ever any doubt:rolleyes:

As said, over 100 points means no brownlow. Wasn't really a chance on current form anyway.

Thing is, with that shoulder, i doubt he'll play this week anyway

What a joke.
What excuses did they use to get him off?
Because it was definately intentional, behind play and medium impact.
Christ, the guy wasn't even looking at Goodes when he snipered him.
GUTLESS GOODES.

How does an obviously deliberate act off the ball be left unpunished?

So this precedent means all AFL players can sneak up on opponents from behind and lay into their back and still play next week. Great

They reduced it to 'low-impact' and changed it from a charge to a strike.

really no surprise.........when was the last time a Swans player was actually suspended?

He deserved a week for that.

There is no consistency. Bet $10 someone else does the same thing this weekend and gets pinged for it.

Still guilty, but charge downgraded combined with good record means he only got a reprimand.

Brownlow hattrick is not possible, but he will play this week.
