The two Coopers in the middle already showing enough to suggest they'll be handy for mine. Get Stephens into the seniors ASAP.

Flashes from Dempsey were promising as well. That spoil on the outer wing was a good effort. And achieved with a minimum of fuss.

MOC and Miers also look in OK shape in their returns.

Against Collingwood's midfield which is pretty quick, we may be better off going in with Stephens and managing one of the older guys.

I like Stevens because he uses the ball so well

Ceglar rucking and then going deep back I like that with one of our weakness being a lack of genuine talls at AFL level in defence,

Dempsey pace, jump and agility really stand out. You can tell he is raw but is showing much more than most. If he has the footy smarts he could be a terrific AFL player.

Miers is going ok. Certainly still not the most physical. The rest are just ok. Narkle, Cooper S are good but they seem very one paced and dare I say it VFL.

He looks a smart footballer a bit over 6ft if he stays fit and can put on about 10ks before next season he could become best 22.

Huge factor in why he will make it. Also reads the game well and looks to be proactive in getting involved in possession chains.
