Would be disappointing IMO. Think there's a lot of comedians out there that either want to be shock jocks or martyrs. But him and Ricky Gervais are probably the only ones that actually do comedy for the sake of comedy and have a reasonable view of the world.

It’s a completely unfunny and tasteless joke. I don’t know where I stand on this. People have laughed off far worse…but should anyone really have to put up with cruel abuse regarding an illness. Do you consent to being the target of mockery when you stand on the red carpet or go to an event like this?

If someone at a shopping center made fun of my wife's appearance (caused by illness) you can be damn sure id do the same as will smith, if not worse.

Whilst you should always be big enough to walk away no one knows what goes on in peoples personal lives, or what they deal with. Will clearly had enough and didn't tolerate it and handles his business. I don't blame him.
