Looks like Swiatek is going to be a clear #1 for quite some time, shes good on clay from memory so will probably pick up a few tournament wins the next couple of months and build a solid lead. I think she is deserving of it, much more then people like the screaming banshee

Is there something wrong with the tennis schedule or something else going on? Im noticing alot of retirements and people withdrawing before match even starts in the womens side of draws.

Vika threw all her toys out the cot today as well and stormed off the court for no apparent reason other then been upset about the scoreline against a 16 year old.

I am not too sure what is going on. There have been some really queer scorelines. A lot of high seeds losing.

I am really sad about Muchova though. It seems like she just can't get back on the court.

It really feels empty with a lack of Barty. I am not sure of the depth if we have Sakkari and Badosa ranked 3 and 4. The tour feels to be in faux. Swiatek looks really good though. Seems to have taken the #1 ranking in her stride.

Swiatek, is a clear class above the rest of the field. The way shes wiping her opponents off the court is scary good.
It is French Open 2020 like. hitting the baseline with massive power. Just unstoppable.

Dasha had a really really good US swing. Will move close to the top 100 now with nothing to defend.

I looked at the live rankings.

Dasha's win today takes her to 127, if she can beat Bencic she will be 99th ranked. Incredible as a month ago she was 610 in the world and has gone quarter final, 4th round and now quarter final in her past 3 tournaments including Miami

Well done to Swiatek in winning the golden double she is looking strong for the clay season. Hope she takes a couple of weeks off to process what she had achieved over the last few weeks plus relax and enjoy the journey.
Also happy to see Osaka playing well and looking HAPPY on court and enjoying herself. Wim looks to be a great influence on her.

Fair dinkum, a few of these Asian "girls" playing in these satellite tournaments should be drug tested during the game. Playing against these petite, hot European girls and having twice the power of them and blowing them off the court. You would swear at first look some of them were men.

Would you like to throw up a few names? There are bigger girls from all countries on the WTA tour.

Do we really need to go into the racist/sexist space? Lets keep it to what matters

The clay of Madrid is throwing up a whole host of upsets, 2 rounds down and the top 7 seeds are all dismissed. 8 Seed Jabeur plays 11 Seed Bencic in a couple of hours.
