Waters did well to pip the pole position yesterday... SVG just had the better turn at the hairpin so he could get down the inside and just bump the B-pillar of the car ahead and retain the position by Turn6. No surprises SVG ran away with the win from there. Pretty wild race, though, as is usually the case in Tassie.

SVG predictably on pole for Race 4 today.
Davison impressively held onto his tiny gap to SVG for pole in Race 5 today (although thanks to Slade and SVG crashing and red-flagging the Q5 with a minute or so left on the clock)

No one will get near SVG this year or for the next few years.
I like seeing a young guy like Feeny in a good car but I'd like to see someone Brodie Kosteki in it to give SVG a run.

SVG just too good... but I would have loved to still have MCL to take him on. Even he admitted that MCL going to the US was his key to his top performances in this class of race.

SVG is too good for this mob... but it's not so long ago he was having his arse handed to him on a regular basis by Scott McLaughlin. Having said that, I don't think there's another Scott McLaughlin hiding in the current batch of Supercars drivers.

I know it's hard to admit
Looks like the Adelaide 500 will happen.
Will be an amazing effort to get it up by December given the amount of infrastructure sold off cheap.
Bloody Marshall should be hauled over the coals for such a sabotage.
Had they waited a few months for the election result they could have sold it off then had they got back in again.
Wondering if they’ll make it the last race this year and 1st next year to save on setup costs or if it will continue to be the last race each year.

They'll make it a permanent finale IMO. Gets it out of the Mad March zone and everyone gets their free space.
More predictable weather in early December too.
It'll be a huge effort to get it done in the time they've got, and you wouldn't think the Fooeys would come now.
Not long after Motorsport festival as well, so something’s can be used for both.

Reckon a penalty for Chaz was a bit harsh there.
Seemed to me like he hadn’t fully got the car back under control from being escorted on the grass.
Not as if he’d got under control motored for the next corner and fired it up the inside.

Hard to bet against either at their peak tbh. Both are way too good for this league regardless.
