Most exciting skillset in the AFL too.

Rachele from the Crows is someone I hope we target once he is out of contract. What a talent and a passionate Bluebagger growing up
 
Harris Andrews, Toby Green or Shai Bolton. Any of those 3 please.

Special mention to Petracca because he is a gun and would much better in Navy Blue.

Would you rather have 3 x Nik Cox or have McKay, Weitering and Walsh?

Odds are that Cox won't be as good a forward as McKay, he won't be as good a backman as Weitering nor a mid as good as Walsh. Does the fact that he could be 80-90% as good as ALL three of them make him the best overall player? Or does it just mean he's 80-90% as good as the others?

Was Kouta (or Goodes) a better player than Diesel, Judd, Sticks or SOS? I don't know the answer, but IMO that is the key question at play.

one way to look at it is multiplying their %time spent in the area x rating in that spot

eg kouta

40% x 9/10 (chb)
40% x 8/10 (mid)
10% x 9/10 (wing)
10% x 0 (bench)

7.7 overall output

vs

Cripps
70% x 10/10 (mid)
20% x 7/10 (fwd)
10% bench

8.4 overall output
 
Really surprised no one has mentioned Grundy and only one (that I could see) for Luke Jackson.

Given our current ruck stocks I would jump hard on either with a slight preference for Jackson on age.

Jackson's a gun, sure. I can't help but think, though, that right now you're seeing what he can do as the cream, compared to the necessary.

I’d assume, GWS would want minimum atm a first and second round pick for him, he’s a top end young KPD who has still yet to even reach anywhere near his peak…

As a future long term quality KPD need, i was a big fan of Zac Reid in that draft year we traded in Adam Saad, think he will be better than Cox as a player and a future gun defender of the competition, had a few injury setbacks so far in his first few seasons…
You could only imagine how difficult Dodo would be trying to gain 2 firsts and a sweetener for him…

  • Most intercept marks from a non defender
  • Most marks inside 50 from a non forward

Best player in the league imo and improves every area of the ground.

If we couldn't manage a GF with arguably the best ruck, midfielder, KPF and KPD in the league then we may as well pack it in.

He may well improve and grow into a role but to me he is a classic do a few good things a game that make you shake your head in amazement and the rest of the game contribute nothing.

Would be a long, long way down my list.

With Max Gawn we would be a pretty strong chance to win the flag this year. He would elevate cripps into the stratosphere. Easy clubhouse leader for mine.

One that hasn’t been mentioned that sit high on my list is Jade Gresham.

Really rated him in is U18 year and at the time hoped we’d find a way to engineer a higher enough pick to nab him. Went 5 picks ahead of Cunners in the 2015 draft.
