Tell you what I've liked the game of West's big bodied Josh Carmichael in the midfield today, former Sunraysia footballer that's played some good footy up in Darwin....might be a smoky for the MSD.

Milera and Fogarty are another 2 x 1st round picks that will barely play AFL again by the looks

Soligo looks great today ( best game of I’ve seen from him ) and Parnell also a shrewd pick up , both need to put on some size

Parnell is on the Gollant nutrition plan..... Heavy in protein, 6 meals a day

Club obviously rates him, he just needs more size

Very composed for a debut , makes good decisions and doesn’t fumble . AFL written all over him . Wouldn’t think top 10 but maybe 20-30 in draft

Kobe Ryan will almost certainly go 1st round it will be just how high...

28 disposals in the reserves last week and 21 disposals and 2 goals on League debut is pretty bloody impressive..

Going at 96% disposal efficiency against an Adelaide team chockful of AFL listed player...and let's not forget it's been with a greasy ball most of the day.

Soligo - Really good game in the midfield, 11 tackles, 6 clearances, 29 disposals and a goal. Seems a real get the job done with no fuss type.
Newchurch - Stats don't show it but I thought he had another good game, working up to defence and back, great goal sense
Parnell - Solid game, brings pace and kicking skills, should debut soon
Strachan - 57 hitouts
Crouch - about what you'd expect and nothing more

Josh Carmicheal looked pretty good for west, goal kicking mid with a bit of burst speed
