Yes, 100% agree to do it for players who have won the award the most. Also rename the Norm Smith after Dusty or at least hyphenate it. GAJ should be the MVP or hyphenated with Lethal as well. Nobody will break the latter 2 records. Seems silly not to recognise them when they are clearly better than the people who it’s named after.
Mark of the year award should be the "Moorcroft" Specky award..

Um what? The first norm Smith was in 1979, so he didn’t win any Dusty has the outright record with 3. This award is for BOG in a GF not premierships.
There is no way you are going to argue Norm Smith was a better play than Dusty, unless you are an idiot.

Let's name something after every player who has ever played a game in the past 10-20 years? Seriously, the game is nowhere near as good as it was pre-2010, probably pre- 2000, yet every year the media and fans salivate over players calling them the greatest of all time in everything they do. People talk as if they have never seen a great Goal or Mark before?
60 metres at the absolute most, with an awful lot of bounces along the way.
Not even close to even being in discussions. A great long goal must carry the distance - otherwise there's too much an element of luck involved.
The only thing I will say is, I thought it was a bit odd to name the best player in the GF after someone who was more famous as a coach (to be fair, Norm Smith also played (well) in 3 winning GFs, so, eeeh maybe).
