Not sure on the rules now, but isn't a case of only being able to sign a pre-contract of you're going to a club outside of England.
If you want to join an English club you have to wait for your contract to end, and then you can talk.

Have wanted Haaland for a long while now, not just for his ability but his links with the club make it a great story as well.
Really excited to see how he gets on, and whether our style of play will change much as a result.
