Heard two Port supporters talking at work this week saying we only need to make the 8 and anything can happen. Congrats Port you've officially reached the Neil Craig/Stephen Trigg era.

Did you remind them that they couldn't even get the job done in 2020 back when they had a better list and the deck was ridiculously stacked in their favour?

As much as I dislike Eddie, someone actually putting Caro in her place is delightful…https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/t...e/news-story/4503f92b4738f0deb904a869fc8d1b62
The show is designed much like 5AA and any other footy show, one presenter takes one side and the other presenter the other.

The only time they are on the same side is if the overwhelming majority of people agree with one side, even then, if there is a third presenter, he will take the opposite side.

The literally blew their chances of potentially having a home GF for a non-Victorian side.

Imagine in just one play, Duursma dropped not only the Premiership Cup but also the chance of Home Grand Final.

Since the AFL began, genuinely only two sides can ever make claim to "make the 8" and anything can happen.

Bulldogs is one, the Crows the other.

Mind you the Dogs had it far easier with a home state grand final and playing an "away Final" in Melbourne.

No side, will ever play 5 consecutive road trips (interstate) in a row and win a GF again.

I play the long game with these idiots, no point arguing with them when they are in peak Puffer mode.

for those that haven't seen the dropped mark, here it is again

That was post of the year by flashcrow

Never grows old.

Apologies for posting it again, I should have read your post earlier before mine.

Still a beautiful gif of a Port playing hatching an egg in a Prelim. Glory be.

Kinda sad with Tippa going but he did cost me a family serving of fish and chips, so there is that

Fish and chip shop has a tipping comp for Fridays game, closest to winning margin gets $40 worth of Fish and Chips, which from this place is a fair feed. So Bombers Vs Roos and I pick the Bombers by 24, came down to 40 seconds, Bombers up by 19...kinda hoping Bombers can get a goal and nobody picked 25 or 26...but being as I picked 24, they probably would have been both picked.

Roos surge through 50 and kick a point. Now I am really taking an interest. Bombers kick out long and to the left and one of those one Bomber against Two Roos marks frees up the loose player and the Bombers run it down the wing with short kicks and handball before delivering inside 30 metres to Tippa, pretty much straight in front, slight angle at best but on the right side for a right footer.

Mrs Spenze asks whether he is a chance of slotting it and getting us a feed and I confidently tell her that if I could have the fate of my free Fish and Chips feed resting on someone, I am very happy it is Tippa, pretty good shot on goal.

And he sprayed it to the ******* right. The only consolation was straight off the boot, I knew he had ****ed it, so it wasn't like it looked like it was going through until it swung late and hit the post...or it went through and then the goal umpire went 'just want to check whether it touched the post, I think it did" and even though the first viewing clearly showed it missing, the campaigner upstairs decides "inconclusive evidence, umpires call". That would have ****ed me off more.

Still, Tippa, was a joy to watch you that time you destroyed Hamish Hartlett and kicked a handful of goals. His life story is a very interesting read, I hope he does well in retirement.

There is and she's a very good player too Yasmin Duursma.

Willem Duursma will likely be another brother headed for AFL, already in the Victorian U15's squad and showing potential apparently.
So they've got W, X, Y and Z Duursma

Youngest brother Aardvark Duursma has just started kindergarten
