A shame. He was exciting to watch and seemed to just be coming into his own when he took leave. It's not easy being away from family and country for players from remote areas.

It sounds like he's pretty happy now he's made the decision. He worked hard grinding away in the Tac cup/ VFL for 5 or 6 years before getting a shot at it and made a pretty fair fist of it when the opportunity came.
More players could take a leaf out of his book and leave when the love has gone,...... cough, cough @WC

How do you eastern state campaigners live with this nonsense. Football game starting at 7:50pm is dogarse.
Huge in Sydney - finish work, walk to a pub for dinner on the way to the SCG then across to the game. Much of the crown then heads over to enjoy the night life after tha game. melbourne is similar.
No one in the eastern states have families or live in the country.

Sounds ideal. Knock off, after work beers, grab a feed then get to a place to watch it and settle in.
6pm sux IMO, hate eating dinner whilst watching an Eagles game.
Even worse, having to bathe and put the kids to bed when the footy is on.
