It is interesting that one coach can see a BOG whilst the other puts them outside the votes. Wonder if it was Voss giving Murphy no votes because he did or didn't do something as instructed? The two coaches votes must have been:
5 - JDG
4 - noble
3 - Howe
2 - Cerra / Sidebottom
1 - Murphy
5 - Walsh
4 - JDG
3 - Murphy
2 - Cerra / Sidebottom
1 - noble
agree.no. just imagine how he was feeling after the loss with the umpiring decision as the reason...... he must have felt so bad to mention it...it's a shame carlton cant appeal the loss and get the AFL to say that the umpire was wrong and that free kick should have been paid and that walsh would have kicked straight and carlton would have won the game.... he really should appeal

Sorry Jathanas when is talking about a PERSON'S character misogynistic?
Because they are women.
Don't worry I'll drop it but be sure I see right through the bs.
EDIT: -
To be sure you understand completely . . .
My mother was British and as a young girl was a card carrying, street marching Women's Liberationist right in the centre of where feminism was born - not some second rate armchair novelist who capitalised on the cause - and our entire family including and especially myself held her up as an example and sort of a heroine of her time.
So don't paint me with that misogynist label.
The current WLM leadership are a pack of man haters that have managed to hypnotise the world with anti male rhetoric and debase the aims of the original feminist movement but my mother would know what to call them.
So give me a holiday and I'll happily take it but don't stick that label on the son of one of the true and genuine marchers for feminism right at the core of where it all began because it won't fit sunshine.
I know this edited post will be wiped and that's fine because I wanted YOU to understand that I know the hysteria that surrounds even a third hand report of a rumour of anything but prostrated wonderment for women is manufactured and regulated in the main by fear.
I like you Jathanas but I have NEVER been so FURIOUS goodbye for a while.

Who’s Walsh?Walsh?
Fixed!Walsh?
24 disposals. 1 goal. 12 score involvments. 505 metres gained. 4 tackles.Curious vote allocation there, I wouldn’t have said DeGoey had basically a BOG game. He was good yes, but worthy of a 5 and a 4? Yeah nah.

If I’d have known you could have had my seat in the Ponsfold a few rows from the front. I was away and unable to use it against the blues.Luxury! I was a bit slow getting tickets and was in Row CC on level 4 in the SKW stand. DD was the last row.
With that in mind, let me tee off. Ollie Henry gets a holding the ball free kick paid against him in the first for ducking into a tackle and getting caught (note also the tackler wrapped his legs around Ollie's head, but accept the free was probably there). 3 minutes to go Steele kicks into our forward line. Ball spills out the back, Plowman takes possession and ducks his head. Cox makes high contact and Plowman gets a free for high contact. WTFCouldn't care less about the umpire blaming. It's loser talk and carries no weight. You should only bag umpires after a win, otherwise it just sounds like you're trying to make excuses.
Psychological? We've beaten 3 of the top 5, had Geelong on toast and pushed Brions the whole way. The West Coast loss is just mind blowingly staggering. It will never make sense seeing how bad they are.
Sometimes Young Ageists can provide useful information.I think the better way to show this is:
JDG - 5 & 4
Murphy - 3 & 1
Howe - 3
Cerra & Sidey - got 2s
Noble & Walsh are the difficult ones.
One got a BOG 5 and nothing from the other coach.
The other got a 4 (from the coach that gave JDG 5) & 1 from other coach.
Walsh / Noble possible scores :
5 & 0 or 4 & 1.
Thanks barrackers, was with my son as well. My bad for being tardy. If I’d have known you could have had my seat in the Ponsfold a few rows from the front. I was away and unable to use it against the blues.
The coaches have to give 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
See this annoys me. So many in the game day thread bagging Daisy, and much of it the usual misogynist, incel crap about her forward/appearance.More annoying than Daisy?
Sgt O'Neill said the same about excuses.Yes, so 1 coach gave him 5 (BOG) and the other 4 (2nd best) to give the 9, so in effect BOG. It could be argued that Crisp was just as good as they had similar numbers, main difference was Crispy only scored a point whereas DeGoey got a goal. My point being DeG was good but he wasn’t best on, did he have that much influence on the game? Did he turn the game on its head? Was he everywhere? 1 centre clearance won from attending 21 centre bounces and 4 tackles laid tends to suggest not and he certainly didn’t win the ball out of the centre. But hey, everyone has an opinion … we all know what Dirty Harry says about opinions. For me, a 3 and a 3 would have been fair and reasonable. If it was based on pure numbers, Cerra had a better game and he only scored 2 votes so I think it is curious which metrics coaches use to award votes. Obviously not the same ones that joe public does.
Did I imagine it or were we also on the receiving end of a sling tackle where a player hit his head on the ground? Was a few beers deep yesterday and thought I'd see if anything came of it today. Maybe I was too many deep.
Sgt O'Neill said the same about excuses.
All I see that happened is 2 coaches agreed with your opinion that JDG was basically BOG. A 3 and 3 might have been "fair and reasonable", but as the coaches vote in isolation, they can only give votes as they see fit.
Sorry? You can disregard what you were thinking....it might be a good longterm strategy
